Cloudband leaves aside the gossip and the glitz of this year's fair and gets to the heart of the matter, the pieces themselves. Here we present the ones that aroused the most interest - as chosen by the exhibitors themselves.

Lower Prices for the Cloudband Arcade

We would like to announce a reduction in our member prices for listing items in the Cloudband Arcade. The changes are as follows:

* All items posted to the site will be charged at GBP 0.50 per day
* Items will be charged for up to 20 days only
* After 20 days items will remain on site free of charge.

This means that an item posted to Cloudband can only incur a maximum charge of GBP 10 for its lifetime on Cloudband. Previously each item posted to Cloudband could incur a charge of at least GBP 48 for a year.

Together with our offer on annual Arcade membership for only GBP 200 (until the end of June) there has never been a better time to take advantage of a Cloudband membership.

New exhibition in Cloudband Gallery - Colour in the Black Tent

COLOUR IN THE BLACK TENT
Weavings from the Aït Bou Ichaouen Area of Morocco
Five years ago, Al and Suzanne Saulniers were shown an incredibly vibrant and free-flowing rug from the eastern slopes of the High Atlas Mountains that was unlike anything they had seen in over 20 years of collecting Moroccan carpets and textiles. Not only did they buy it, but they embarked on a labour of love that led them to write a book cataloguing the bold designs and techniques of an isolated region previously unknown to the rug world. This stunning exhibition shows the beauty and diversity that they discovered.
